Story Express Storytelling Festival, 2nd Edition on 5th February at BDL Museum and Veermata Jijabai Udyan, Byculla. Three hundred children participated from 8 NGO's. The festival is all about bridging the gap between stories and children. We had 12 authors including Savio Mascarenhas, the illustrator of the much loved Shikari Shambu of Tinkle Comics and animator and film maker, Chetan Sharma. Bringing stories alive with Art and Music, zoo walk and talk, museum brought to life by the docents of Bhau Daji Lad Museum. There was also a programme for the teachers by Delna Daruwalla using puppets to enhance teaching and learning skills in all subjects.

Young storytellers took the ferry to Alibag to conduct storytelling sessions and activities in BN School. It was a day filled with stories and laughter, ending with mangoes and vada pav.
